Apparatus for accelerated moisture determination: model 062M3 is designed for drying mixture samples in the process of moisture determination in shop, factory laboratories, as well as in laboratories of research organizations.
Components of the device
The apparatus consists of a metal base on which laboratory electronic scales are installed with a maximum weighing limit of the load on the load-receiving platform up to 300 g. A hinged metal case is mounted above the load-receiving platform, in which a halogen heater is located. An electrical heat-resistant cord is connected to the rear wall of the case, on which a two-position switch for a halogen lamp is located.
Installation principle
The device is turned on by pressing the "ON" button. The balance on the display should show the number "0", otherwise press the "ON" button again. During operation, an empty container (aluminum cup) is installed on the load-receiving platform of the electric scale. By pressing the button, we make the "zeroing" of the container. We pour a sample weighing 10-20 g into the container, pressing the button 2 times, we go into the percentage mode. We turn on the halogen lamp using a two-position power switch on the cord, which is conventionally considered the beginning of heating (drying of the sample). The end of heating is the stabilized% humidity value on the display.
