The apparatus for determining the clay component model 01315M is designed to determine the clay component in accordance with GOST and for the preparation of suspensions and solutions in molding materials laboratories of foundries, central plant laboratories and research organizations.
Installation principle
In accordance with the method for determining the clay component by the accelerated method, a 20 gram sample is isolated from the mixture sample, placed in a glass, 300 cm3 of water is added and boiled for five minutes. Then the contents of the vessel are transferred to the glass of the apparatus and 200 cm3 of water is added. The glass with the test liquid is placed at the top of the rack in a special socket. In this case, the toggle switch is pressed and a microswitch is turned on, which does not allow the device to be turned on without a glass installed. The maximum stirring time is ten minutes, set using a time switch. After removing the glass and flushing the sand particles from the mixer with water, the apparatus is ready for the next test.
Components of the device
The device consists of a base with a stand. At the top of the rack is a platform with an electric motor, covered with a cover. The electric motor drives the shaft of the mixer with impellers, through which the liquid is mixed.
